Stylistically, a big inspiration for #RosewaterGame's characters sprites is mid-90s LucasArts, "realistic cartoon" as seen in Full Throttle and the cancelled Indiana Jones and the Iron Phoenix.
I'm using realistic proportions but keeping the high contrast shading. Works for me!

Considering that none of the Delicious Party♡#Precure have names that directly reference their motif food (🍙, 🥪, 🍜), if the mid-season Cure’s name is found in a toy, without her introduction phrase, it’ll be really hard to guess her motif food.
