Looks like the first redesign we saw leaked wasn't what they settled in the end, and they went to refine it with different hair and proportions more akin to his N.Sane counterpart, while keeping the smooth texturing.

We've all seen these graphs. I liked it too, at first. But at second thought it has two problems.
1. Wrong proportions, which seriously downplay the

It tends to move around a lot so its hard to really get a beat on it in some scenes but the bulk is there
Not monstrous proportions like more modern versions of the character
But still bigger than Tobey's Spider-Man which is really all it needs to be

Nah. The water armor is basically an advanced version of mana skin. So her VD is skin tight and that's her true size. You can see how it's proportionate to her maid outfit in the first image. Plus the manga is the Same size too. The anime just draws her flat for some reason.

Think that it's wonderfully unique. Pt6-8 go for more of a realistic style in facial designs and proportions, and there's some criticism to how people might see that faces look too similar, but it greatly makes up for it in detail and unique designs. It helps with Pt 6 given...
