Really got a strong grasp on Yoshiyuki Tomino's storyboarding approach from Gundam I. Big part of this is the selective introduction of colour whether it's imposed on a cut or matched to a setting. It isn't necessarily coded but used for highlight fear, anger, shock, etc.

when working on my webcomic Rambo-Kittan, i usually write down or storyboard the general idea of the story or scenario, then start making an sketch, go for the lineart and then colors to finally add the dialogue, is a simple way to work because i make a new page every Saturday.
