I define the color rough with a sharp textured brush combined with a smaller pencil brush for little areas. I wasn't satisfied with the white background; the deep purple background makes the figure instantly pop up more.

It's been some time since I've done one of these. I focused on procedural texturing with redshift nodes on this one... getting more familiar with the RS State, Curvature, and Bump Map Blending nodes.

I decided to just go for old school "your face is a texture" to do expressions more easily, & will probably try swapping the texture w/code to make her expressions change. I also changed their lipstick color out of a design concern I had when I tried sculpting her features. (2/3)
