Yuka Sakazaki is also a fan of fighting games, with her name being a reference to "Yuri Sakazaki" from Art of Fighting / King of FIghters. Bearing little resemblance to her later "magical girl" character, the initial outfit is combination of Yuri's default and alt (pink) colors.
