Touching in general is hard ;;

Believe it or not my sketchy ass drawings have an underlayer and I usually have to place centers like head/chest/torso, points of contact, and hard angles like elbows/knees/iliac crests as a starting point.

I swear I've hugged another human ok o_o

You can play around with the shade by clipping a norma, layer on it. Then, add overlay. I usually use skin color and light purple

Been seeing some finale recolors so here’s mine. I made her whites warmer and her blues cooler to be more “blueberry-ish” since that’s usually her flavor in sweets. Also gave her solely purple and gold konpeito. Overall I gave her a more pastel color scheme and I like it.

if i felt too lazy i usually skipped the sketch part and just straight do lineart (but it’s usually for simpler drawing) i don’t have a specific way to render because most of the time i don’t even know what i am doing i just have to make the final piece look decent lol
