Almost 2 years ago, to the day.
I chose it because it’s a great representation of a number of my interests: Aliens, the line between the everyday and the supernatural, gnosis etc. It is also a nice stylistic representation of my body of work.
“I can’t relate to this character because they don’t look like me.”
And yet somehow POC, Plus Size, Disabled, LGBTQ+ etc characters have been relating to white, cis, straight, able-bodied characters our whole life. Now that we have a crumb of representation—you feel left out???
