Low poly modeling in Blender is great for blocking out backgrounds or figure out how to foreshorten something. Example; the mountains here started off as a flat, low poly "sheet" that was shaped with proportional editing. This helped to block out both the basic shape and shading. https://t.co/7cn75cYYzy

For exemple when you’re doing anything with materials like wood, stone, steel ect..
Use textures and shade after! This helps so much to make look the result more realistic ! ✨

The piece changed a lot from the sketch to the final. At one point I tried to show in the background a kind of gitaxian probe, but it stole too much attention from the main focus of the art.
