That time I made a 3-D model of 2D from Gorillaz and almost had a stroke bc I had no clue what I was doing in that class. But got a crap ton of compliments during critique on the model and colors.

To give some perspective this was my early work I posted online:
It's horrible. The coloring is awful, the bg is bland, and you can barely see crap. I'm not proud of this and I don't have to be, but don't drag yourself too much for it because you're still learning!
