Samurai Warriors (PS2; 2004)

Like most Koei games, even though the earlier titles are less polished, I really like Samurai Warriors 1. Maybe it's because the series had less 'super powers' and felt more 'real' with the first. It has wonderful game feel.

I love music games and while KHIII soured me a bit, I'll always love KH, it's so nostalgic. This is a celebration of the whole series but mostly of Shimomura who's truly the MVP of the franchise. Very polished with nice presentation & tons of songs!

Akutami-sensei created Gojo, and Kubo-san and Sayokan had a hand in designing Victor as well but Hiramatsu-san’s particular style when it comes to character design and polishing their features really outsold when it came to Victor and the anime version of Gojo Satoru
