@mr_prime1216 yes. there have been Hex Maniacs in Gen 3, but nobody cared then. And they were redesigned for X/Y, but I don't think the design alone was doing it. the explosion of popularity is 100% due to that single line of dialog.

AHHHHH! The PCSX2 team finally listened to my request and "fixed" Itadaki Street 3. It's playable now! There's still no music and the game seems to skip the AI Player talk, but it's playable! With all the dialog in the executable a translation is now feasible too!

Went out eating something with a friend (no weeb) and we randomly saw her manager (that I’ve never seen before). After like 10min, dialogue twist and I started talking about Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure with her.
Today she tells me that she got an offer for a better position.

This sequence of Clark running from the omega beams is fucking rad. The bystander dialogue is a lot of exposition. It’s funny to think the average person is so familiar with Daily Planet office politics. But holy shit this is cool.
