I think the fireflies definitely were the highlight of this piece for me; not only were they carefully positioned to compliment the Azuki, but the general sense of flow induced by them made this PFP feel alive.

The rendering with which the Azuki is depicted with in this rendition is nothing short of impressive! Love the attention to the hair and how even the fireflies are given careful planning (size, glow, depth perception)—well done.

The aquatic tones and bubbly interpretation of the original fireflies very well complimented the blue hues of the original Azuki in my opinion! I thought ethereal nature of the blade itself was quite a nice touch, as well as the translucent hair—well done.

What got my attention with this entry was certainly the color palette—the turquoise, violet, and navy blue selections compliment each other so well! The koi fish were a lovely addition that matched the bubbly portrayal of the original fireflies ^o^

A very cute Chibi portrayal of the Spirit Azuki! I think my favorite aspect of this rendition aside from the wonderfully rendered character & background would be the use of “spirit butterflies” that contrast the material butterfly on her hair—love it!

I found the inclusion of the lunar cycle to be very cute, fitting given that the Azuki is deemed a “Spirit Goddess.” In addition, I thought the color scheme (white hair, night sky) complimented with contrasting butterflies was skillfully employed.

Love the concept of butterflies coming to life through the handle of the sword, almost as if the Spirit Goddess Azuki is creating life herself! The rendering is also something to note: the character, background & especially the sword were well done.

Absolutely love the direction taken with this derivative! Illustrated in Melloow’s signature style, my favorite aspects include the juxtaposing butterflies, the glow of her eyes as well as the overall “cool” atmosphere of the piece—well done!

This derivative was soft yet striking in its portrayal of my Azuki; while the swirling fireflies and flowing hair were of smoothly illustrated, the incredible attention to head & face design made me think "wow!"--absolutely unforgettable!
