Actually Koopa Troopa is a mix between 2D art and 3D renders.

2D Koopa Troopa art have almost always had separated eyes and heads, and especially nowadays. But Modern aper Mario instead gives them a eyelids that connect to their head, like they have in 3D.

I ripped myself off, all my characters outfits are based on mine. I think it's fine to take outfits from real people though as long as it figs a character especially if you separate the layers to decide what does & doesn't work.
