I was discussing my posing methods with a friend and I felt like sharing it here. I like to match certain edges of my silhouette to the general shape of my gestures. I usually use the opposing edges to define less flowy shapes like muscles and joints

i made a new character. She loves explosions, but can't do magic like those with the gift to do so. She resorts to alternative methods. Nobody knows how she's always able to survive the blasts she comes up with.
