I've been wanting to watch #MakotoShinkai 's next movie, #WeatheringWithYou. Hope it comes to American theaters soon! In the mean time, I noticed Kimetsu no Yaiba is the latest hit anime to air. Any other recommendations? What is everyone watching right now? #DesignsByBillyWan
I'm looking for books that feel like the same sort of surreal bureaucratic science-fiction / horror as CONTROL! I know the later books in the Southern Reach trilogy have a similar vibe, but do you have any other recommendations?
Other recommendations for Vrains fans include Violet Evergarden, a show with a emotionally-distant protagonist like Yusaku dealing with trauma, Aggretsuko for real-world office struggles(for Akira fans)/great humor, & Code Geass for complex mindgames/great action. All on Netflix!
Since Vrains is ending, decided to throw out some other anime recommendations with similar themes! Dr.Stone is a sci-fi realistic shonen, Fruit's Basket has deep emotional struggles, & Cardfight Vanguard for more chr driven card game action! All are streaming on crunchyroll!
oryt mates. I know I never make it public, but I am open for commissions!
