Hey comics know-it-alls! I'd like to know even more comic book colorists. Who's your favorite colorists out there, A-listers or up and comers? Who wows you with color, either subtle or loud as can be?

Okay, so the traditional piece I made yesterday had been bothering me so I redid it digitally. I still stand by what I said yesterday. is an amazing CC.

His Lil avatar is gonna have dark purple hair when I color him. I know it's the wrong color, but purple supremacy.

I am making reference sheets with a price of $ 25 usd per view and $ 15 usd per head or extras; They are pretty, somewhat semi-realistic in style and in flat color, include the description of the character and color palette.

I’m curious what readers prefer: Black and white comics with pops of color, or full color?

Hello, I'm a fantasy artist mostly known for watercolor, but I've recently shifted to digital art. Here are a couple of my watercolors and a couple digital paintings~ congrats on the 2.5k, and thank you for the share!

Quick from when I couldn't get to sleep. If you want to know how i chose colors i just go. darkest color, blue or purple. lightest color, light yellow. everything else, in between, usually wards red. I should probably put more thought into colors, but these look so nice

$3 for Flatcolor, $5 for Shading
The Rose can be any color, the background and be whatever simple background. Any Species is welcome.

Added a little background color, so the speech bubbles stand out a bit.
Also, was the white hurting anybody else's eyes, or was it just me?

Leo watercolor, the background is my favorite part on this one. With watercolor you don't know what things will look like till it dries so there's a bit of nail biting involved.

Duck is a pretty bird with a short neck, wide beak, and beautiful color, which lives near the water.

Portrait Watercolor

Today, I painted a portrait watercolor. Painting portrait has different charm from landscape watercolor, so I want to paint often.
