I experimented a bit on this one with overlaying flat patterns over 3D objects, on his clothing. I had a lot of fun with that part.

@TacticalFriedRi I'm not savvy in digital arts, but I understand tracing is copying an artwork outline to the point where you can overlay the two pieces and find they look nearly identical. Dare I ask, if the outlines don't match the original pieces and don't line up, how is this tracing?

For the fun highlights, I mostly place them for aesthetic reasons and use light yellows or oranges with Add(glow) or Overlay
Then, I pick the color that white became and place it where I want to shade the marked areas. I then put it as multiply (you can also use overlay for a different experience)
@PenAsteria I tend to use a cold shadow layer with the "lights" erased from it, and then add warm glows and overlays. But I also want to work on my color choices so I've been shaking things up lately.
