This really shows the curiosity and thirst for adventure that Catherine Morland has throughout Northanger Abbey. A great piece of Jane Austen art.

"I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight years and a half ago. Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you."

Jane Austen's books give so much pleasure that it's impossible not to wonder what happens to her characters after the books have finished, or in other guises and different times. As for Jane herself, she makes the perfect heroine. Thank you Jane for being such an inspiration!
