Fighting games have a lot of cool black characters. Jade, Zasalamel, Sean, Raven, Jax and others come to mind too. But there's specifically a lack of Black Main Protagonists in the medium.

12. not... permanently. there's one i can't talk about because of major pq spoilers (but now you know at least that heehoo) but all my robot characters from reboot were humans that died and were "rebooted" as robots! (tammy, chiaki, click, + tammy/jax stuff hehe)
