Originally - we had 2 different ideas for BF's keyblade.

Either give him his own physical blade - or similar to how Kirby gets a glimmering keyblade in smash ultimate he'd get a fake shining one. Not sure what I'd call it though - glimmering? spirit?

The same Kingdom Hearts from the Keyblade War eventually made a reappearance in BBS. During BBS Xehanort tried to create the X-blade by having 1 being of pure light (Ventus) clash with a being of pure darkness (Vanitas). The result created an incomplete X-blade.
