I do think it's cool when people do their own takes on Seiko if she looked older, though. At the same time, I hate when people (mainly anime-onlys) with limited knowledge on the series pipe up as if the series doesn't have great representation of actual older women/people.

today i've beat the "kr can't rig nor model her own characters" allegations (no one but myself has said that about me)
