Tried a new shading technique inspired by @/rinotuna's art. I love the painterly shading that distinguish both stylistic and realistic, smooth and textured. Tried my best to emulate it.

a simple way to add soft shading is to focus on “ambient occlusion”! essentially, wherever the corners meet there will be a dark spot where light can’t get to. for this effect, i added a multiply layer, with a colour similar to the lineart i filled in these dark spots.

super being stiff as hell doesn't help it whatsoever, but the show would've benefited from less highlights and shading, basic cell shading would've been just fine (not to mention the show is too saturated)
