In the OG Manga, Toriyama basically made it like the legend of the SSJ was kinda misinterpreted by the saiyans, viewing it as an evil destroyer. While Toei with LSSJ and GT, decided to change that to where, the legends were 100% true, just different forms. Which do you prefer?
The Super Manga is a modern story BASED on Toriyama's Original Manga. It's not a Sequel but a Side-Story with MANY changes no longer consistent to the OG Manga (e.g. No 10 Years of Peace pre "EoZ").
