They've been using the same 3d model since around Unleashed I think, but it's never been as well animated as it was back then sadly, idk kinda tired of the same 3d model, wish they'd try something closer to the Adventure days 2D art

Something similar was done way back in 2006. That character was called “Shadic” and was from a fan web animation “Sonic: The Power Of Nazo” and “Sonic: Nazo Unleashed”. It only had a Hyper form though.

But yours is really, really good. I like it.

Ok, I know this sounds like a stretch but hear me out. If Sonic Frontiers PC has mod support. I imagine someone out there will make NPC boss of Nazo from Nazo Unleashed (by Chakra-X & Sonic X) where the boss itself built to be impossible to defeat l, like a Dark Souls boss.
