Also, with the nexus events of ‘Nimrod Extinction’ or ‘Orchis Domination’, these glimpses are visual references to Genosha, the original mutant island- and with the numerous times they show up in timelines, it’s a good reminder that they are still a very big threat

With the ‘Gene-Corsairs’ future, clearly Exodus explores his faith-based boosts and with the Phoenix’s support (he’s not the host!), his powers become exponential

as for the timelines we already know we’ve avoided, ‘Limbic Infernality’ is clearly linked to Magik and the Darkchylde - it’s giving Inferno 1989: the sequel

perhaps this would have been the future if Magik wasn’t transferring Limbo over to Madelyne??

but the other nexus events are all pretty bleak, aside from ‘A New Krakoa’ (this is probably the future)
