Tomi's last name is Shishido and Shi is the root of the word "death" in Japanese. That shi looks like し in Hiragana, but the Kanji of shi for the word "death" looks like 死.

Idk how his last name ia spelled in Kanji, but I'd sure bet that 死, "death," is in there.
