Leiji Matsumoto passed away on 13 February. 85 is a good run by any standard but sad nonetheless. I'm a casual manga reader/anime watcher but I've been a fan of Matsumoto's work since I was a kid. Definitely rewatching Interstella 5555 tonight

Finished a nice family moment of me with my dad. He adopted me when I was a baby and I love him. Yeah I was a daddy's girl. But also he is reflective of my real father who passed years ago. I still miss him, but without him, I don't think I would be where I am.
