I try to keep it as clean as possible though so I can just paint over it and skip lineart

I need to have things properly laid out tho so I dont end up drawing jankiness

If you didn't know where Mega-Salamence's Pokemon Home sprite comes from, it's literally its Mega-Evolution animation's first frame.
It's just can't be seen properly due to the Mega-Evo effect.

If this Chuuya's 15 scene has been properly animated by Bones it could have been a good parallel with this DE Dazai's scene,both knowing their ennemy was injured so couldn't aim properly and would miss their target,the difference being Chuuya warned the guy,while Dazai lured him~
