Back side laser decapping gave pretty good results for this I/O floppy disk controller by SMC (# FDC37C65x). This low power CMOS 0.8u design has serial and parallel ports. Along with a digital data separator and an IDE interface for on chip decoding & a small instruction set.

Finally finished redesigning Alicia. This design should be the one that will be used for the final asset. I haven't posted any new drawings for months because I've been doing new writing, outlining, and this redesign. I'm glad it's over now. 👏👏👏

Closing comments on a solid year.

2022 was a rough wild ride that, although brought a ton of destruction, also opened up new avenues of thought and perspective to many.

Overall, I enjoyed 2022. To me, it was a refreshing reset. But more, a year of lessons.

Foggerous by . Part of an NG blind drop, I lucked out with this 1 of 16. To me, it perfectly captures the absurdity of the COVID lockdown time period. I'd love to add others from the set. They're really the only pieces I've seen that deal with COVID in art form.
