Moon Knight (2016) #188. A good modern adaptation of the all white look, visually consistent materials, and slightly armored gauntlets and boots. It was my personal choice to color pick for an off white color, sometimes the white looks warm or cool depending on lighting.

@gjkcentral I’ve always thought the best way to keep suits as accurate as possible as well as visually interesting is using textures and seams to substitute the lack of controllable shading. For example: Ben and Kaine’s suits in Spider-Man PS4. They’re nearly 1:1 and look great in daylight.

Ever area is filled, every shape has a highlight, hard shadows, and hatched edges are softened and cancelled with gradients.

It's like the colorists are trying to transmorgify a flat drawing into 3d.

It doesn't work and it's visually repulsive.

@MAWKVLT maybe you can try adding a window and have the time of day be set to early morning or sunset? It’ll cast light rays and shadows around the room which imo would make things more visually interesting and add more detail to the room

@roeselli The term "cel shaded" is used to describe cartoons that have one flat color and one shading color with no additional colors added to the character designs except for rare occasions

It's an eye effect that's hard for me to describe in words - and I have am much easier time explaining it visually through paintings- but I like the extra life it gives to character's eyes that are beady.
