Why "Anime"?
You must begin somewhere. Anime art is one of the best labeled sources, and why train on something we do not have a personal passion for?
It will be much simpler to incorporate various styles after the AI has a better understanding of specific tags and labels.

Like look at his style and look at how people draw they’re oc in the “chowder style”. Sure some chowder characters wear big hats and night gowns but not all of them and your oc likely wouldn’t dress like that in the show. Drawing in individuals styles is just a better foundation
