Really enjoyed trying - server issues are a bummer but I enjoyed just spamming random CPU matches to learn stuff. The simple mechanics are really fun for someone of my skill level and I look forward to more. Here's my first impressions as a casual player:

The "itchy eye" is a biomechanical mass
that grows on beings known as Nephirans
Nephirans are living beings who have been chosen to inherit some of the essence of the sekarph.
however Synthians are not worthy of receiving this gift
BUT Marhen was chosen by someone else :)

He thinks you'll look better in it anyway~

A lil thing for as part of an art trade

I tried to capture the gorgeous and intimidating mechanical intricacy in their style, and while it's not quiiite there, there's definitely plenty of elegance in the attempt

Harriet's Mechanic Form has control over Cold magic and Dark magic, the main advantage of this form seems to be improved defense and spells that can freeze targets. Looks smart and looks like a repairer or builder of sorts.

YCH animation commission for ✨

Thank you so much again for your trust on this! I’m still figuring things out but I love small atmospheric gif loop like that.

(RT’s hugely appreciated ❤️)

The Nightingale illustrations by Edmund Dulac

It is about an emperor who prefers the tinkling of a bejewelled mechanical bird to the song of a real nightingale.

Stories from Hans Andersen, with illustrations by Edmund Dulac, 1911

Liet Kynes and Chani from the books

Read them over the Summer in preparation for the movie, Kynes ended up being my favourite character :)

it would be interesting if magic users actually gained power as they cast spells, and lost it when they rested.

Everyone already wants rest. It's more flavorful and mechanically interesting if someone is powered by their manic obsession and stays awake for days

Klaus is a mercenary with time powers, amplified by his sword and core, Zeitjäger is a giant mechanical owl flying through history, and keeps altering it, and Viadlo has the power to stop time for others when he moves around
One of my favourite powers thematically~

Old news to returning players, but Queen has a unique meter that allows her to perform her Devil Cancel technique. This interrups anything you're doing and returns you to a neutral state. Yes, this mechanic is exactly what you think it is.
