According to Tatsuro Iwamoto, Buddy Faith (the victim in the first episode of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth) was modeled after Takeshi Yamazaki. Jacques Portsman from the same episode was also modeled after a staff member, but exactly which one is unknown.

Spearfinger, or U'tlun'ta, is a figure from Cherokee folklore. Made of stone, she can shape-shift into anyone to trick her victim. She has a finger as sharp as a knife that she uses to cut her victims to eat their livers.
