felix robane is the backbone of wmmap ... he cared for athy since the beginning and always pushed claude to act more like a father, when claude lost his memories felix stayed by his side to help him remember athy, he even helped athy run the empire & defended her from the nobles
Athy became anxious when she heard that Obelia and the ppl she loves can disappear ,, so Claude patting Athy like this is his way of assuring that everything's going to be fine, that she doesn't need to be scared anymore bc she's no longer alone— he is with her now.
