Day 542: I don't actually hate the way these flat colors look. Maybe it's because it's easier to match/choose colors with bare skin? Maybe having a rough background made it easier to see color relationships?
In any case, I still wish i could draw/color faster 😮💨
#midjourney キャラデザインとしてのSD（スーパーデフォルメ）を英語で「Chibi Style」と表現する事を知ったので、「in Anime Flat Chibi Style」で作ってみた結果。若干立体感出してくる気がしたので「Flat」を間に挟んでいる。というか日本語が通っているんだなチビスタイル。
want to share some progress pics of this cus i had a lot of fun with it! it was meant to be a warm up but it clearly got outta hand..
started with a grayscale and then added a gradient map. applied that to some flat colors. and then i painted over the whole thing to clean it up.
