So I've been wanting to try drawing Joel, but I really cannot decide which reference picture to use or what I want to use to do it. Pencil, ink (the 1st was literally just a ballpoint pen), digital (never finished it) watercolor, or a mix (pink one was marker/highlighter & water)

@KaraNova3 2020 was really about exploring different subjects and color, as well as improving lighting, and learning not to rush through my coloring and finding the perfect scale and composition and getting better at backgrounds. I still have a lot more to learn but I definitely improved.

A small collection I did for my Intro to Digital Painting course last semester! I wanted to study a lot of stuff with these pieces: lighting, color, composition, emulating a "concept art" style, and seeing how fast I could crank a piece out (hence why I did 3).
