I've been attempting to add straps to the gridventory, to make it clear this is your backpack. But I haven't found any design for them I'm totally satisfied with.

so really rather than just blending a bunch of colors with one brush you're more layering them on whatever you're using as a flat base, blending them with the base, and using blended parts to colorpick midtones
