To clarify, I'm not against the point made. I definitely think it would be super cool to see a Mario game emulate a 2D artstyle in 3D.

I think a Mario & Luigi game could do that really well, and Battle League even did it to an extent.

You referenced, transforming something into a new thing. In Omnia's case though, they are line by line tracing to the point where they are basically copying the artstyle. I think the thing about their PFP is stupid. Like that's such a simple thing to draw, why trace?
