i like the lighter gradient instead of adding yellow to their hair tbh
Ooof my fave design??? That's also something I can't pick LOL. But heres some of my faves! Sebastian's is really simple but that's one of reasons I love it-- Aelius' is a bit more complicated but I absolutely LIVE for gradients.
@nonykins Personally I find it really helpful to treat it like shading in color. Draw outlines with color, and then round out the forms in gradients, them start to mix them if you want smoother, with fewer brush strokes showing. That's kind of how I did it in this painting.
Life is short, make Invader Zim dabbing stickers with a rainbow gradient to sell at your artist alley table
Meet my cleric Tabris! He was once a protector aasimar but fell when he got turned into a vampire. He's one of my dnd characters! First pic original palette, second cuz twitter (also I love gradient maps) @ConoceArtistas

At first, I imagined the teapot decorations in plain white with some lineart details, but I came up with this as a solution to reconcile that with the gradient flowers from the borders uwu (contrast is softer now~ and it looks prettier xd)
i finally got off my ass and made micah's pixel. main reasons i put it back were: i didn't have my base on me whenever i wanted to pixel and also they have TOO many gradients
Playing with gradient map~! Drawings on toned paper really work well in different colors, especially with a lot of white lines.
ive wanted to redraw this cg for ages hhhngnghhh
i couldn't decide on the background (actually trying to replicate the cg bg vs dark gradient) so here's both
#WitchsHeart
wasn't sure which one I liked more, so here's boxman + boxman with a very very vague pan flag gradient

#4styles Man this challenge is hard. What even constitutes a style lol
Anyways here are 4 different levels of detail I usually do, I guess? Most of my stuff usually gradients between the last two, but I'll pull out doodle styles on occasion 👌
Uhhh #4styles ? It usually just ranges from cell shading to some gradients, to more rendering.
