2) Check visuals! Have you set your background to the darkest setting? Are you playing on 2D? Does your center have very blue art? (Examples are Tempest Wataru & Motorshow Hiiro) The easier the map is to see the more brainpower you can focus on hitting notes.
But I DO often use the method of shading the entire drawing with only a few colors or greyscale first and then change it later. Clipping colors to my layers makes that process easier/more free to me and can focus on the lighting and shapes more
@franzanth @jopabinia @JaviPaleobio I've only made one serious attempt at a crab. All things considered, it went alright, I think. Animals that are squishy on the outside definitely tend to be much easier.

@CindyAAvelino playing with masks makes it a bit easier to do some parts without messing up others too, if you en up having the mask invert, thats from pressing ctrl off the object your working on, so if you use snake hook on whats not masked, youll have a little better control with the area
