It started out as a tube, a "cylinder" if you will, then I shaped it, molded it, into the weapon it is now. It might be called "Resplendant Izar" or "Radiant Star End". I combined design elements from two of the Magnifiers in the concept art.

Sort of? I tend to be very dependant on using lines to set up drawings, so in the past couple years I've been trying to use a workflow that goes from an outline sketch to colors, or just starting with colors.

It's let me combine styles more, but I still tend to default to lines.
