Neat little exercise to learn how to draw a new thing. Taken from the Drawesome Drawing Challenge - Shrimp Method: https://t.co/vCrtoa4C1y

1. Draw X from memory
2. Trace references. Discard.
3. Study references.
4. Draw X from memory again.

felix is a scientist working on a method of clean air supply. he's contacted by the house of cards, and told to bring himself and all his prototypes to them for mass production. instead, he's trapped on the train to nowheresville, where they want him to rot with all his work.

2020
A drastic shift in methodology and an ongoing fight against constant burnout. A hard year for me as I'm battling a lot of my symptoms, resulting in smaller art output, but that doesn't mean it's over. Experimenting with lots of stuff. Life takes you to lots of places :-)

Now made an attempt to add some colors to the greyscale coloring. Still not used to it but I think I will try this method from time to time for fun and practice

Blaze the Cat from Sonic the Hegdehog. She's a princess from another dimension and a really amazing character. This time I wanted to do a different kind of shading method. Hope you guys enjoy!

Say hi to my new piece 💕
I tried so many methods to figure a good looking style and it worth the struggle 💕💕
And yeah I'm proud of me

It costs $0 to rt and support an artist btw 🥺💞🎨

Fifth in the series, here we have stringbean Nott the Brave! My method for eyes in this style doesn't really account for when the sclera are a different color, but I think it worked out okay this time! We're fast encroaching on the end of this series, so stay tuned!

so like i'm trying to map the hair so that i can have outlines in the final model to give it some detail. i'm realizing a downside of my method tho, it's really kind of hard to map for complex shapes like this - the bangs especially lol.
