For Melissa's battle theme I always imagined something in the style of 'Bad Apple' from Touhou! Japan and Chinese music themed osts with ethnic instruments would be perfect! As for her theme song definitely Katie Melua's 'On the Road Again', cuz that's how I imagine her voice!
