this is from '17 but the gimmick was that my gloves were Molten rocks that had "Crust". At the start of the round, the gloves are slow and heavy doing lots of damage, but as time goes on & you block, the crust chips away releasing a molten core. Gradually you get faster & do burn https://t.co/L8jaJyzmHu

I more or less got inspired to draw in this manner by Arthur Morgan's journal in Red Dead Redemption 2. They let me put out drawings a little faster than fully rendering a piece while still looking "setting appropriate".

My MC Naoya is similar to Quon in the sense that... he always takes a ton of damage. I mean, he's not completely immortal like Quon kinda sorta is, but his special blood can heal his wounds faster than normal.
