Are you aware that people (including me) have pink lips? Plus it’s a noticeable trait that black people have larger lips than white people, it’s like getting mad at a drawing of an Asian because their eyes are slightly smaller. Plenty of cartoons have black kids with bigger lips.

specifically the hair - SORRY FOR THE QUALITY - i typically use a gradient on the base from the og color to a slightly darker and different hue then use a lighter or complimentary color as highlight and lower the opacity in some places
