Honestly I think they nailed DB’s style in 3D. My only real complaints are that Goku’s hair doesn’t move very much and the clothing is static.

Also, while the shading is a little on the soft side I think it’s really cool that they are going for a 90s Toriyama watercolor look.

I used to primarily do 2D digital art, but after I took 3D classes I hard shifted to 3D. This is the last 2D piece I did that I liked. I used to joke to myself that if I did not do wrist exercises then the carpal tunnel fairy would visit me. So I drew it out.
