And Pokémon no. 2 on the team is Houndoom. I figured it’s fitting since it’s also fire type and the Uchiha specialize in Fire jutsu. Also, the Pokédex entry about the pain from Houndoom’s flames never going away is similar to the Amaterasu burning until the target is incinerated.

Amane Nishiki is a stage name for "Uzume", named after the goddess of dawn, revelry and the arts: Ame-no-Uzume.

In Shinto based mythos, Susano'o forced Amaterasu into hiding and Ame-no-Uzume got her out with a dance making all the gods laugh, thus restoring light to the earth.

In Japanese mythology, Susanoo is the god of the sea, and brother to the sun goddess Amaterasu. Like the ocean, Susanoo was known for his wild and unpredictable behaviour. Eventually the other gods banished him from the heavens after he upset his sister.
