art of 2019. this was a tough year for me in just about every way, but i feel like i learned a lot artistically and have a healthier relationship with art than i have since i was a kid. so thats nice!

Over the weekend I did an art trade with and it was pretty refreshing!! Haven't been drawing as much lately.

Art summary time! 2019 has been a year, and I feel I've gotten far more artwork done this year than previous years (motivated by panic mostly... fear of being lazy on zine stuff orz). Here's hoping 2020 is just as kind to me artistically.

Never really did this before, but I'm going to celebrate my since 2020 will be my first year as a college graduate. It was a tough year; I wound up figuring a lot out - mentally & artistically, but I think that's just as good as creating more art.

This year may not have been the most productive artistically, but I'm not disappointed. Even with long breaks, I haven't stopped!💫 I sold things in my first con, did an illustration for a bottle, finished my first webcomic project... and I kept trying! ✨

for the art stuff? the last quarter of the year has been VERY artistically exciting!! I started drawing again! I started doing COLOR! I found a flow thats working for me!!!

I'm getting there, and I'm starting to recover from what happened in alaska. and there is no beating that.

Tonight I used tabletop tokens from for the first time and it was SO MUCH EASIER to prep a map! I even had my players get involved in creating it! If you are artistically challenged like I am, they are a must have!
