@pencil_kage Id say there’s probably more. Theres one where the shapes of the shading are more defined while having harder (rougher) edges. Then there’s the more defined shading with smoother (slightly blended) edges. Then there’s the shading which seems a bit more messy ( prob more blending)

@merzb0w I don’t have any of the custom brush or liquify tools to follow the tutorial directly but the shading tips do really help a lot!
However, near the edges some scales would be in front of scales behind it with a rounder shape… right?
(Very bad examples from a while ago)

best in terms of the themes? Considering similarities of friendship, obsession and sacrifice concepts which are displayed beautifully in each of the series, One Piece edges out but the most interesting core theme remains to be Bleach.

@multiversusie I know this sounds kind of crazy but I compared the Scythe design in the files to the top part of Ruby‘s Scythe in RWBY and it actually looks pretty similar. The design in the files has slightly sharper edges but the design is really close.

Last big one - toggling opacity up/down! My lining brushes don't use opacity since it makes my thin lines too light, so this lets me still lightly sketch/subtly build color w/o that!

You can use the opacity + transparency to get soft edges on strokes or blend colors in layers!

Still a bit rough around the edges as I still have to find a good way to apply this new coloring method but we're going somewhere. Wheeeeee~ noises.

@G0ATVAXING yeah, it's too straight. i would've used the brave and the bold design as inspiration, since the bangs there have sharper edges that sort of invoke icicles. and i just really like how her hair is drawn in that show
