I had bought brushes to use, but made my own using the tutorial videos instead.

And it turned BGs into (still slow, but) fun 'puzzles' I love to solve ever since

these are all default brushes in procreate. I don't usually use the flat brush for colouring, but it's pretty fun! I usually use the medium airbrush for rendering & gesinski ink for foliage

2nd Study. Big problem with this one is not being deliberate enough with the way I paint. The foliage is a little too sporadic and messy so that's something to fix in the next one.

We designed and created all the patterns for her clothes. In the final, we went with some of the foliage that appears later in the book - remixed just a little 😉
We used that in her name for the title as well (hand lettering also done by us) ❤️
